Saturday, August 1st, 2009 was a historic day in Edinburgh, Scotland. Around 125 different clans marched up the Royal Mile from the bottom to the Edinburgh Castle. This is the front row of Clan Gregor group...
It was fun being in a parade...
There were pipe bands...
People as far as the eye can see coming up the road...
And people stood on the sides and cheered us on...

People were waving flags and cheering out their windows...

That was
definitely a high point in my life, and it was a privilege to be able to take part in it. Something like this leaves one with a feeling of pride for their culture and heritage...
