Has anyone done this yet? http://nutritionaltyping.mercola.com/ I did yesterday, and it confirmed again what I know about myself: I need higher-octane fuel. I get tired, groggy, even lethargic when I consume carbs (esp. simple carbs) and thrive on lots of healthy proteins and fats... I keep trying to eat and drink like everyone else, but I end up with aches and pains and digestive ailments and low energy and weird moods and headaches--you name it...
Then there are those who are the opposite... And if they get energy and feel good from high carb, low fat and protein diets, they should stick with that. You have to take in the kind of fuel that your body thrives on...
There are also people that fall in the middle and can eat both ways... That must be my husband because he can eat both ways even though he loves his protein, yet "simple carb beverages" don't seem to phase him...
I'm so glad to know the kind of fuel my body requires and am looking forward to having my energy and ache-free body back--finally!!!! So happy... So happy... So happy...
